What is Google Fi ?

In this post you will learn about Google Fi and why should we use Google Fi. Basically, it is a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) by Google. It provides mobile data service on three mobile networks (T-Mobile, Sprint and U.S. Cellular). Initially, it was launched as “Project Fi” compatible with Nexus and Pixel smartphones (plus the Motorola Moto X4). But after three years Google has officially changed its name from “Project Fi” to “Google Fi”. Now it is compatible with the majority of Android devices and, for the first time ever, it also works with iPhones.

Benefits of Google Fi:

It automatically switches between networks depending on signal strength and speed.
Its service covers more than 170 countries and territories.

It offers unlimited international texting.

Phone calls in 135 countries will cost you 20 cents a minute over cellular connections and rates vary for Wi-Fi calls.
